10th HLF – Highlights, Sunday, September 24

The 10th Heidelberg Laureate Forum has officially begun!

On Sunday, September 24, the Opening Ceremony of the 10th HLF took place in the New Auditorium of Heidelberg University.

200 young researchers in mathematics and computer science from over 60 nations around the world were in attendance, as were 32 laureates of the most distinguished prizes in those disciplines.

Rafel Lang, Chairperson of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation, encouraged all young researchers to seize the unique opportunity of the week: "You have been selected for your talent, for your knowledge, for your potential ... you belong here. This meeting is for you!"
