10th HLF – Highlights, Wednesday, September 27

The third day of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum has ended and we have collected some memorable moments in our "Snapshots" video above.

The Wednesday of the HLF is traditionally reserved for laureates to visit local schools to speak directly to classrooms, inspiring the youngest generation of aspiring mathematicians and computer scientists.

At the same time, the young researchers attending the HLF spent their mornings visiting various prestgious institutions that have their seat in the region, among them the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) as well as the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS), one of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation's partners.

The day capped off with attendees taking a leisurely boat cruise along the Neckar river followed by vivacious boat party against the backdrop of the historical old town of Heidelberg.

As always, select photos from this day can be found on our Flickr page.
